Genocide is something to do with violent crimes committed against groups with the intent to destroy the existence of the group.(http://www.ushmm.org/wlc/article.php?lang=en&ModuleId=10007043)
I think it happens because there are poor people that would give up there life's to be at where the rich people or the well off people that don't got to worry about anything.
